Terms & Conditions

Heli Chardham operates with clearly defined Terms & Conditions to ensure a safe, transparent, and well-managed Char Dham Yatra experience for all pilgrims. These terms are strictly followed and are binding on every passenger. By booking or participating in any tour with Heli Chardham, you confirm that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to all the Terms & Conditions mentioned below. No exceptions shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Deposit & Booking Confirmation

To confirm and secure a booking with Heli Chardham, a minimum deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required. The deposit percentage may vary depending on the itinerary, tour category (road/helicopter), season, and duration. The exact deposit amount will be communicated by your assigned travel consultant.

Accepted Payment Modes:

  • Online payment via secure payment gateway

  • Cash / Cheque / Demand Draft

  • Electronic bank transfer

In case of payment via credit card, an additional 3% bank/transaction charge will be applicable over and above the total tour amount.

Note:

  • All payments must be made net of any taxes, deductions, or withholding charges.

  • Any bank charges or payment gateway fees (by remitting or intermediary banks) shall be borne by the passenger.

Final & Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance amount must be paid at least 10 days prior to the date of departure, unless otherwise specified for a particular tour.

  • Failure to clear the balance payment within the stipulated time may result in cancellation of booking without guarantee of refund.

  • Some tour packages may have different payment or cancellation terms, which will be clearly mentioned in the confirmed tour program.

  • Balance payments via credit card are accepted with an additional 3% transaction charge.

Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or official communication channels. Cancellation charges will apply from the date the written request is received.
  • Cancellation charges for transport tickets (air/helicopter/road) will be governed by the respective service provider’s rules.
  • Air or helicopter tickets issued on special or discounted fares are non-refundable.

No Refund for Unused Services

No refund shall be provided if a passenger is unable to utilize any service such as transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, meals, or activities due to reasons including but not limited to late arrival, illness, personal issues, or voluntary withdrawal.

Amendment / Modification Fee

A minimum amendment fee of ₹2,000 per change will be applicable.

Amendments include:

  • Change of travel date

  • Change in pickup time or location

  • Change of itinerary or tour

  • Change in guest name, number of persons, or rooms

  • Addition, removal, or replacement of guests

Special Requests

Special requests (ground floor rooms, dietary needs, disability assistance, etc.) must be communicated at the time of booking. While we will make best efforts to accommodate such requests, Heli Chardham does not guarantee fulfillment and shall not be liable for unmet requests. We reserve the right to decline bookings if special requirements cannot be accommodated.

Health Declaration

Guests must inform Heli Chardham in writing of any medical, physical, emotional, or mental condition that may require attention during travel. Guests are strongly advised to consult their physician before undertaking the Char Dham Yatra.

Liabilities & Responsibilities

  • All bookings are accepted with the understanding that travel involves inherent risks. Guests agree to take responsibility for their actions and safety.

  • Heli Chardham is not responsible for inaccuracies on third-party platforms; final tour details will be as per the confirmed tour program.

  • We shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, losses, injuries, or damages caused due to weather, natural calamities, government actions, strikes, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • Activities such as trekking, horse riding, or hill climbing are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.

  • Guests must comply with tour guide instructions. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.

  • Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the guest.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

  • Guests must arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, baggage loss, and trip cancellation.

Complaints & Grievances

Any service-related complaint must be reported immediately during the tour to the tour guide or concerned representative. Written complaints must be submitted within 7 days of tour completion. Complaints received after this period will not be entertained.

Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from tours operated or coordinated by Heli Chardham shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
